Hale Wharf Footbridge, London (2006-)
The area around Tottenham Hale is undergoing a dramatic transformation and the new River Lee footbridge will create a new east-west link for pedestrians and cyclists. The design comprises two major components: an elegant arched span over the River Lee; and a new landscaped 'pocket park' which seamlessly integrates the lengthy approach ramps and connections to existing routes into the river environment.
