Lower Mill Bridge, Cotswolds (2006)
This bridge proposal takes advantage of the modest span requirement to explore formal and contextual design opportunities. Comprising a doubly-curved 'pringle' shape with a steel frame and woven timber infill inspired by local fencing materials, the bridge is seen as both modern sculpture and a sympathetic organic response to its lakeside environment.
