Hammarby Sjöstad 'Lyckoben Bridge', Stockholm (1998), Role: Project Architect

Winner of an international design competition, the 80m span footbridge was required to improve links across a major shipping route in central Stockholm. The flat arched form reflects the vernacular typology of the city's bridges however the unique structure is designed to rotate open, revealing two cable-assisted cantilevers.
