Poole Harbour Crossing, Dorset (1996-7), Role: Architect
Second-placed entry in a 1997 competition to span the SSSI-protected wetlands of Holes Bay in Poole Harbour. The understated design responds to the low-lying setting with a shallow profile continuous concrete deck supported on a series of tubular steel columns, to provide the most delicate and transparent intervention.
