Sutong Bridge (Suzhou-Nantong), PR China (2003-8), Role: Concept Architect
The competition-winning design concept for the Sutong Bridge will cross the Yangtze River upstream from Shanghai. The total length of the six-lane highway crossing will be 6km including a world record breaking 1088m span cable-stayed bridge with inverted 'Y' concrete towers in excess of 300m tall.
