Regents Canal Bridge, London (2006-)

The vast Argent Kings Cross development is centred on the Regents Canal, which will be crossed by this road bridge whose form is dictated by the highway loading and large diameter services. The primary structure is expressed through a simple insitu concrete 'picture frame' across the canal, counterpointing a bespoke pedestrian handrail which forms part of a traffic-calmed pedestrian domain.
