Future designers shine in Swiss bridge competition

Pierre-Yves recently visited the University of Fribourg to judge the first Student Steel Bridge Competition.

The event was both successful and inspiring, featuring nine teams of students and apprentices who rose to the challenge of designing and constructing a steel bridge within a set of strict constraints. The project entries were evaluated on design originality, detailing and finish quality, conceptual integrity and poster presentations.
