Seen in the extraordinary low January light, progress on Finland's longest bridge continues despite the icy conditions. The central diamond tower is nearly at deck height!

The approach spans are nearly complete, with the array of V piers hinting at the forms of the main diamond pylon to come. The Finkensilta approach bridge is a few steps ahead of the main crossing, and showing off the beginnings of the stainless steel family of twisted parapets.

Kruunusillat's approach spans have made excellent progress over the past months. The next phase will see the main span being constructed. We are extremely excited to see the first sections of the tower being constructed, and the diamond emerging from the water.
