Drammen City Bridge

Construction on Drammen City Bridge is well underway, with the rail station's concrete deck, v-piers and platform staircases taking real shape on the Strømsø side. Over the River Drammenselva, work on the foundations to support the bridge arches continues despite the -20°C temperatures!

Seen in the extraordinary low January light, progress on Finland's longest bridge continues despite the icy conditions. The central diamond tower is nearly at deck height!

Munich Offenbachstrasse

Munich, DE — November 2023

The new active mobility bridge nears completion as the shuttering on the concrete abutments is removed. The seamless, sculptural nature of the crossing belies the very complex geometry that includes a 5m variance in deck width and offset abutments.

Kustrin-Kietz Rail Crossing

German/Polish border — November 2023

The 270m-long river crossing has been successfully launched and lowered onto its bearings. The carbon hangers are mounted and the rebar for the composite deck is in place. Brick infill works at the piers - a nod to the brickwork of the Kostrzyn fortress - have also started.

Lilla Lidingöbron

Lidingo, Stockholm, SE — September 2023

The original 1925 Tengbom-designed Vindarnas Temple has been carefully restored and relocated to the eastern end of the new Lilla Lidingöbron, providing a welcome sight to travellers, especially at night when it glows like a beacon.

The preassembled main span is launched eastwards across the River Oder, with part of the side span used as a 'nose' to push the structure across the two temporary support towers.
