All together now...!

Inspiration, collaboration and learning were the watchwords of our brilliant Away Day on 1 November. For the first time in 18 months, the entire UK-based team were in one place - the gorgeous Aston Webb Room at the RIBA. An in-depth business update from Martin, including several promotion announcements, reminded us just how strong the bonds of the KA Family are.

We were then joined by inspirational guest speakers Will Arnold, IStructE Head of Climate Action, Dr Rachel Aldred, University of Westminster, Professor of Transport and Director of the University's Active Travel Academy and Frank Anatole, Network Rail Principal Architect. These leaders in their field spoke about some of the key issues for built environment professionals today: the climate emergency, active mobility and the role great design can play in rail infrastructure. A very big thank you for sharing your enthusiasm and time with us!

A delicious lunch at the spectacular German Gymnasium restaurant followed (as well as a post-lunch gathering at a local pub!) All in all, we came away refreshed, energised and buzzing with enthusiasm.
