KA triumphs at inaugural Bridges Awards

Three of Knight Architects' bridge projects were honoured at the inaugural Bridges Awards last night. St Philips Footbridge and New Pooley Bridge were winners of the Design Award (under £5m) and Construction Award (£5m+) categories respectively, with the A14 Footbridges receiving a Highly Commended in the Design Award (£5m+) category.

Organised by Bridge design & engineering magazine and held as part of the eBridges conference this week, the awards celebrated the sheer ingenuity, project management and cooperative skills of the people behind the design, construction and maintenance of pedestrian, highway and rail bridges in the UK.
