Remembering Sam White

This week, we were happy to be able to join Sam's immediate family in Guildford to remember our beloved colleague and celebrate his design legacy. Meeting on a beautiful sunny morning on one of the last structures Sam designed - Walnut Bridge - we were able to talk to the family about Sam's approach to architecture and the public realm.

To commemorate his work, Guildford Borough Council have installed a plaque in Sam's name at the western end of the bridge. Yesterday was the first opportunity for us all to visit the completed site, see the plaque in-situ and reconnect.
