South Dock footbridge secures planning approval

Our latest bridge in Canary Wharf has moved a step closer to completion after London Borough of Tower Hamlets granted planning permission for the pedestrian crossing.
Designed to alleviate existing pressure on pedestrian routes and connections and facilitate opportunities for economic and social growth in the area, the 70m-long moveable bridge is located just around the corner from Knight Architects' Water Street Bridge.
The tender process is expected to be completed in 2023 with construction starting thereafter.
