Knight Architects is delighted that two of our recently-completed projects have been shortlisted for a prestigious Structural Award 2019. The Kienlesberg Bridge in Ulm (Germany) is one of four projects to compete for the Vehicle Bridge Award, and the River Thames Footbridge in Taplow (Bucks) vies for the Pedestrian Bridge trophy.

The winners' ceremony will be held on 15 November at The Brewery in London.

"This is a highly sympathetic new pedestrian, cyclist, and tram bridge. The structure reflects the enormous benefits of interdisciplinary work between engineers and architects - Kienlesberg Bridge

"The team delivered an aesthetically driven solution that appropriately considered budget, constructability, durability, and maintenance" - River Thames Footbridge
